About Meraki Events

Meraki Events was created with one thing in mind: To create events that are both memorable and feel like someone put their heart & soul into your event. The Greek word, Meraki, originated from the Turkish work "Merak" meaning labor of love, to do something with pleasure. And what better way to put an event together for our clients than to put our heart & soul into each event.

It's our goal to show our clients the love & dedication Meraki Events puts into each event especially in the smallest of details. Leaving a piece of Meraki in every event is what sets Meraki Events apart from others, because it's not just another event to us, it's our life!

HELLO!

First, thank you for coming to my page. A little background on me, I'm a NOLA born girl with a gypsy soul whose momma taught her to dream big & always give 100% to my goals. Dog mom of two, Canella & Nola, living life with my amazing partner, Jacob. When I'm not putting together events or styling décor, you can find me hanging with my doggies, family & friends, COOKING, or on a flight seeking adventure.

From server to restaurant manager, to special events assistant, to catering manager I've been around the block. Usually that's a bad thing, but not for me. It opened up my skillset to different levels of hospitality, different leadership roles, and the ability to call myself "A Jack of All Trades". Each job I've ever had has prepared me for this moment.

That's where I got the name Meraki from. Meraki's definition is the best way to describe not only my work ethic but myself as a person. I truly pour my heart & soul into everything I do & it shows. With Meraki Events, I have the ability to make peoples visions come to life, give them the best event they've ever thrown or hosted, & create magical moments all around.
